Because of the short month, after Easter Break:

First, Second and Third Grades are all required to know only verse 1 and the Chorus

 

The test will be May 2nd (1^stgrade) and May 3rd (2^nd & 3^rd grades)

As we come to the last two weeks of the third quarter

(with Easter break just around the corner)

This week the K through 3rd Grade Music classes have their listening tests on the pieces they have been studying this quarter

• 1st - Carnival Of The Animals
• 2nd - Pictures At An Exhibition
• 3rd - 1812 Overture

Next week is the Hymn of the Month tests on Praise To The Lord

"Night Of Praise"

It is a time where we gather

and all lift up our voices in song

to praise our great God

accompanied by all the guitar students

Attendance is mandatory for all students

in Elementary Guitar, Junior High Guitar and Worship Team

2 Quick Reminders for this week:

1. For those with instrumentalists, make sure your child is turning in his/her practice card each week and (especially for 4th-6th grade) attending music class each time with instrument and music in hand.
2. For all students, you can check music grades at any time using the PASS system. I update every time a new grade is entered.
