The God Of Abraham Praise

The God of Abraham praise,
Who reigns enthroned above

Ancient of everlasting days

And God of love

Jehovah, great I AM,

By earth and heaven confessed

I bow and bless the sacred name,

Forever blessed

verse 2

The God of Abraham praise

At whose supreme command

From earth I rise and seek the joys

At His right hand

I all on earth forsake

Its wisdom, fame and power

And Him my only portion make

My shield and tower

 

First grade is required to know verse 1.

Second and Third Grades are required to know verses 1 and 2

The test will be February 29th (1stgrade) and March 1st (2nd & 3rd grades)

This is the last week of the second quarter/first semester.

The school year will be half over after this Friday!

• The last Practice Card of the quarter is due this week
• Some instrumental classes have a test this week

I sing the mighty power of God
That made the mountains rise
That spread the flowing seas abroad
And built the lofty skies
I sing the wisdom that ordained
The sun to rule the day
The moon shines full at His command
And all the stars obey

There’s not a plant or flower below
But makes Thy glories known
And clouds arise and tempests blow
By order from Thy throne
While all that borrows life from Thee
Is ever in Thy care
And everywhere that man can be
Thou, God, are present there



First grade is required to know verse 1.
Second and Third Grades are required to know verses 1 and 3


The test will be January 25th (1stgrade) and 26th (2nd & 3rd grades)
